3. Ionic Field Zone
In this zone, a high-voltage electric field of tens of thousands of volts will be formed. Bacteria, viruses and germs present in the air will be killed by the high voltage when passing through this electric field zone. In the test data from the laboratory, the virus removal rate for some samples reached as high as 99.99%.
4. Electrostatic Collection
The charged particles enter the collection section, where they are attracted to collector plates.
This active electrical collection mechanism is a fundamental difference between TPA-based filtration and conventional passive mechanical filtration.
The collection components can be removed and cleaned, allowing the system to be maintained without relying on routine replacement of disposable filter media.
5. Additional Filtration
Depending on the IEF configuration, additional filtration materials can be used to address odors and certain gaseous pollutants.
